Informations générales sur le cours
This course was developed as part of the Interreg-funded research project DiKomP (Digital Competencies in Care). The challenges addressed in the course are based on real experiences of practice partners in the care context. However, the topics derived from these challenges go beyond the field of care and are also relevant in many other everyday and work situations.
The aim of this course is to promote confident and easy-to-understand use of digital devices and applications. Through short, easily digestible micro-learning units, the course teaches the practical use of technology. The focus is on reducing uncertainties and explaining digital solutions in a clear and everyday-relevant way.
Contenu du cours
The course content covers typical digital applications and technical issues that commonly arise in everyday life. The course is divided into four lessons:
- Challenges in Windows: password problems, frozen screen
- Online meetings: Teams/Webex/Zoom, creating and sending appointments
- File formats: text and images
- Devices: printers, external monitors, tablets
Objectifs pédagogiques
After completing the course, participants will have basic digital skills for everyday computer use — whether in care or other professions that are less computer-focused. They will be able to use digital communication tools such as Microsoft Teams and the Outlook calendar more confidently, and operate common technical devices like printers or external monitors correctly.
Additionally, participants will be better equipped to assess and handle common technical issues, such as a frozen screen, a fully discharged tablet, or password problems, and implement simple solutions independently. Overall, the course builds confidence in using digital technologies and helps participants apply digital solutions in a practical, everyday context.
