Course details

Course content

Learn by Doing: This course delivers the fundamentals of Python programming at a fast, dynamic pace. Focused on dense, high-value information, it provides a quick launchpad to spark your curiosity and encourage independent problem-solving.

You won't have to figure it out alone, though: Your personal AI Learning Assistant is by your side every step of the way. It’s ready to explain concepts, clear up blockers, and keep you going.

Learning goals

Master the fundamentals of Python and build your first custom programs.

  • Core Concepts: Variables, data types, operators, type conversion, and syntax rules (indentation, comments, scope)

  • Control Flow: Conditional logic (if/elif/else) and loop management (for/while, nesting, break, continue)

  • Data: Basic I/O operations and practical string handling

Prerequisites

This course requires no prior experience, but moves at a fast pace. Background with other programming languages will ease your entry. Alternatively, careful studying of the examples and active experimenting will be required.

Disclaimer: This course is only available in Englisch!

Course schedule

The course consists of 4 hands-on lessons. Each lesson includes a complete learning module:

  • Introductory Video: A clear, concise breakdown of the core topics

  • Deep-Dive Content: Additional materials to build a deeper understanding

  • Practical Exercise: A hands-on coding task to apply what you’ve learned

  • Self-Assessment: Targeted quiz questions to check your progress

Certificate

For actively participating in the course you will receive an automatic certificate which includes your name, the course name as well as the completed units. We want to point out that this certificate merely confirms that you answered at least 75% of the self-assessment questions correctly.
