Emeritus University Professor Dipl.-Ing. Dr. techn. Rudolf Greimel has been Professor Emeritus of Mechanics since 2004.

After studying mechanical engineering at Graz University of Technology, he obtained his doctorate in 1970 and completed his habilitation in mechanics in 1975. He was subsequently appointed Associate Professor (1985) and then Director of the Institute of General Mechanics in 1999.

Prof. Greimel has taught courses in this field for over 25 years and, drawing on his extensive experience, has also designed this online course.
