Thomas Fößl

Thomas Fößl completed his degree in Mathematics and Computer Science teacher education at Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) and the University of Applied Sciences (KFU Graz) this year.

As part of his dissertation, "Stars & Videos: A Field Study on the Use of Problem-Based Learning Videos in Open Mathematics Lessons”, he explored in depth the topics of “learning with videos”, “self-directed learning” and “seamless learning”. This work resulted, among other things, in a large number of learning videos and other educational materials, the educational benefits of which were confirmed in a field trial at a school.
