What is a MOOC Fellowship?
The iMooX.at team wants to actively promote and support the use of our free, openly licensed MOOCs in higher education. We want to learn more about who uses our MOOCs in their courses and how they are used.
"Fellows" are teachers who use one of our MOOCs (which they did not create themselves) or just parts of it in a didactically effective way in their courses, training or coaching, and let us know about it.
How do you become an iMooX Fellow?
To become an iMooX Fellow, use the form linked below to let us know how you plan to use MOOCs from iMooX in your own courses.
The submission always covers the upcoming school/study/course year, so that you have enough time to plan your course, and in case coaching or support is needed in advance.
You can register as a Fellow regardless of the educational institution at which you teach and the format of your course.
At the end of the term, we will invite all Fellows to an exchange where they can share their experiences.
Registering a Fellowship
Please submit your applications using the following form: https://survey.tugraz.at/index.php/776121
The following information, among other things, is requested in the form:
- Contact information
- The educational setting in which you would like to use iMooX (dates, number of participants, methods, didactic concept)
- Support or coaching required (technical, didactic)
Schedule
- Reporting of fellowships: 31. marec 2025
- Confirmation of the fellowships and coordination of further support: after the application deadline, 10. april 2025 at the latest.
- Your teaching with MOOCs: September 2025 to July 2026
Benefits for iMooX fellows
- You can use existing OER learning materials in your own courses and save time, from which your participants can benefit in other ways.
- We will make sure that the MOOC is available during your fellowship period and also provide technical support for your learners.
- We are happy to put you in touch with the MOOC creators and other fellows for further exchange.
- You will receive support from the iMooX team for technical or didactic questions. For example, grades from iMooX can be transferred directly into your institution's
- You will be invited to the annual MOOC summit, where you can meet and exchange ideas with other fellows, MOOC creators, iMooX partners and the iMooX team in person.
- You will receive an iMooX fellowship certificate as proof of your competent use of OER in your own courses. You will also be mentioned as a fellow directly on iMooX.at.
