The IMC Krems is a modern University of Applied Sciences with a strong national and international reputation, located in the heart of Lower Austria. The university offers a total of 29 innovative full-time and part-time bachelor (16) and master (13) degree programmes in its core subjects of business, health and science & technology. The contemporary topics of sustainability and digitalisation feature prominently in all of the degree programmes.

More than 3,800 students attend courses at the university’s site in Krems (further locations for the General Nursing programme are Mistelbach and Horn), with another 750+ students enrolled on transnational programmes. Day-to-day life at IMC Krems has a pronounced international flavour: the university has close ties with 200+ partner universities, is an active member of numerous partnership programmes and its students come from more than 70 different countries. In addition, around half of all degree programmes are taught in English.

Our researchers are visible in the national and international scientific community and recognised and sought after as experts. Their research focuses cover future-oriented topics, take a long-term perspective, and are constantly being enhanced by means of domestic and international partnerships with business, community groups and other academic institutions.
